One inch leather straps help hold the load down. The cart is stamped: Eidgenossische Konstruktrons - Werkstatte E No. THUN 6711? 1915. The width of the cart from the outside tire to tire dimension is 41", the bed length is approx. 52" plus the front hitch and rear bar, the cart sits 27" off the ground which is to the top of the tires, there are two 9' 2" long hitching poles, the rims are 20", and the overall tire size is 27".
